Open Role: Commercialization Ops Intern (Summer 2025)
HQ Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid) (Travel 0%)
Compensation: Covered by Texas Entrepreneurship Exchange for Energy
About the role
As the Commercialization Operations Intern, you will learn the inside of a climate tech startup by facilitating conversations with industry stakeholders as well as building and improving our operational infrastructure. Working directly with the CEO, you’ll learn to manage a range of deliverables associated with business development and operations.
Some duties you’ll champion:
Generating leads for customer discovery and implementing a CRM
Co-conducting industry and customer research via interviews and surveys
Assisting the commercial team on interpreting market research results
Implementing project management tools to improve operational efficiency
Interpreting analytics and research for the company’s understanding
Maintaining and improving operational standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Managing social media interactions with the public and Mars’ website
Strategize directly with the CEO to implement a commercialization development plan, including generating leads and co-conducting research via interviews and surveys with the aim of securing binding letters of intent.
